Live music events this year have been amazing, but none have captivated us quite like U2's performance at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. "The visual effect is so awesome that I feel like I am in space," was a common comment made by guests on opening night, which turned into a phenomenal event. The main stage of The Sphere was its most notable feature; it was an innovative design that raised the bar for concert staging.

Immersive Experiences with Innovative Design

Unlike traditional venues, every aspect of the MSG Sphere was meticulously designed to immerse us in a captivating visual journey. Directly above the stage, we find the world’s largest 16K resolution wraparound LED screen. This stunning display allows us to engage with a breathtaking visual experience without the need for VR glasses.

The main stage, crafted by YES TECH, complements the grandeur of this indoor LED display screen perfectly. Its unique stacked design resembles a “record player,” igniting passion and excitement throughout the event.

The Art of Stacked Design: Merging Functionality and Aesthetics

Our main stage features two seamlessly integrated components: a 10-meter diameter circular upper screen and a 14-meter square lower screen. This innovative design creates a unified stage, enhancing the immersive experience of the U2 show. This project is noteworthy as it represents the first customized stacked stage screen in the industry.

At the heart of our “record player” stage is the circular screen, constructed from 268 regular cabinets, 32 creative screens from the MG15 Series, and 56 custom-shaped screens. The centerpiece of this project is the MG7S Series, known for its “Multi-functions & Multi-shapes” and boasting over 30 patented technologies. This star product from YES TECH has dazzled audiences on countless stages worldwide.

Precision Engineering for Exceptional Results

Achieving the perfect curvature of our circular stage required us to custom-make all multi-shaped screens. Given the tight three-month delivery schedule, we assembled a dedicated team to manage everything from electronics and structural design to production and after-sales support.

Creating our stage involved over 350 custom drawings, including a specially designed MG floor tile truss that ensured easy assembly. This meticulous planning led to a stable and reliable indoor LED display screen, capable of supporting performers standing directly on the stage.

YES TECH's Commitment to Quality and Innovation

Our production process for the creative screens demanded 159 operations, covering dispensing, silk-screen printing, and surface mounting. Each direction of the display screen required independent programming, totaling 159 programming tasks. To maintain color consistency, we employed a custom inkjet process, ensuring visual uniformity across the 88-shaped screens and 268 regular screens.

Through our dedicated approach, we achieved stunning display results, harmonizing the upper circular screen with the lower square screen flawlessly.
